Suite of Technology for blind and partially sighted people includes Hal Voice System, JAWS & Supanova plus Microsoft Office and Internet in the Open Technology Centre. This service is free of charge.

CD-ROM searching in Stockton Reference Library for free, by staff only.

CD-ROMs for children at all libraries, free of charge. A booking system is in operation so please contact the library if you wish to book a time slot.

Coffee bar at Stockton Central Library. A list of charges for refreshments is displayed at the coffee bar that offers various snacks and hot and cold drinks.

Corel Draw (desktop publishing) in the Open Technology Centre.

Internet Access FREEin the Open Technology Centre and all Libraries. Please book a session (up to an hour) and if no one else is waiting you may stay for longer. An adult must accompany children up to the age of 12.

Microfilm reader/printer available at Stockton Reference Library free for use. Printouts cost 40p (A4) and 60p (A3) each. A booking system is in place so please telephone in advance on (01642) 528079.

Microsoft Office facilities: Word (word processing); Access (databases); Excel (spreadsheets); PowerPoint (presentations) free in all libraries. Printing is 10p per black and white A4. CVs, job-seeking letters etc are 5p per copy if unwaged. Colour printing is 35p, or 20p if unwaged and is available in the Open Technology Centre, Roseberry Library, Billingham and Thornaby Central Library.

Photocopying in black and white is 10p per A4 copy and 5p per copy for CVs if unwaged. A3 copies are 20p. Double for all double-sided copies. Multiple copies - over 20 pages - 8p per sheet. Over 50 pages - 5p per sheet. Colour photocopying is only available in Stockton Reference Library and Thornaby Central Library and is 50p per A4 Copy and £1.00.

Scanning is available in the Open Technology Centre and most branch libraries, free except for printouts.

Theatre ticket booking for Billingham Forum Theatre and some local amateur dramatics is available at all Libraries except at Billingham and Ragworth Neighbourhood Centre.

Webcam freein the Open Technology Centre and all Libraries.
