How To Join
Stockton Borough Council Library Service operates an 'open to all' policy which means that anyone who lives, works or visits the Borough is welcome to make use of the library facilities.
To join the library you will need to complete a simple membership form which is available from any library in the Borough, by post or you can download one below. You will however need to visit a library in person and will need to produce one form of identification.
Please Note: If you are under 16 years of age your parent/guardian will need to sign the membership form for you.
About your card:
- Please take care of your ticket as a charge will be made for a replacement adult ticket.
- Please remember to bring your ticket with you when you visit the library. If you do not have it with you, you will be asked to show a form of acceptable identification (see below) before you can borrow items.
- Please let us know of any changes to your name, address or telephone details.
- Beware of lending your ticket to anyone else, as you are responsible for any items borrowed on it.
