What You Can Borrow

Under 13 years of age

... up to 10 children's books and 3 children's story CDs

 

13 - 15 years of age (inclusive)

... up to 20 items including

  • all non-fiction
  • teenage and children's fiction books
  • 3 teenage/children's CD story tapes. 

16 years +

... up to 20 items including 

  • all non-fiction 
  • all fiction
  • 2 language courses
  • 2 CD-ROMS
  • 5 talking books
  • 4 junior DVDs
  • 3 Junior Story CDs.

VIP (Visually Impaired Person)

If you are blind, partially sighted or are unable to handle the printed material you are entitled to a  ticket allowing up to 20 items including

  • 10 large print books or talking books (free of charge)

 

Deposit collection

If you run a special group eg. a Playgroup, or if you are a registered childminder you are entitled to a Deposit Collection ticket allowing up to 20 books for an extended loan period of 3 months.

  • You can use your ticket in any Stockton Borough Library and return items to any library.
  • You can renew items on your ticket at any library, either in person, over the telephone, or by e-mail, by quoting your library ticket number.
