The library has moved on! We still do the books bit, and we do ensure we always have the very latest titles, but take a look at what else we do...
We have free internet access in all of our branches - with free Wi-Fi in some, events for young children and families, reading groups, a Youth Zone with gaming workshops, local history studies, training in basic ICT skills and lots more. We also host many events throughout the year with something to appeal to everyone. Check our Events Calendar to find out what is happening in your branch. Everyone is welcome so get yourself along. Don't forget, you can also reserve or renew a library book online.
Your Library, Your Say...
Here at Stockton Library Service we do our best to give our borrowers what they want. You can help us get this right by suggesting titles for our catalogue.
If the book you are interested in is not part of our Library Online Catalogue then email us with the title and author of your suggestion at the address below and we will do our best to get it in stock... firstname.lastname@example.org
The latest titles we have bought as a result of borrower suggestions are...
Oxford Double by Veronica Stallwood
No Easy Day by Mark Owen
An Encyclopaedia of North-East England by Richard Lomas
Darkest Pleasure by Gena Showalter
