The 2007 Stockton Firework Display was bigger and better than ever before as an amazing 70,000 people flocked into town on 5 November. All along the Stockton Riverside there was a chorus of "ooh's" and "aahh's" as a rainbow of brilliant fireworks illuminated the Stockton skyline. The event was an absolute riot of colour, electrifying sounds and all round thrills and spills.
The Guardian Newspaper recently ranked Stockton's 2006 display in the top three public free-entry events. And this year we pulled out all the stops and organised a fantastic night out for all the family. As well as our biggest ever firework display, there were people dancing along to local party band Big Sigh and The Yawns and music from the Century FM radio station roadshow.
You'd be mad to miss the event next year. Make a night of it...bring a flask of soup, get yourself wrapped up all warm and cosy and then pop along to Stockton Riverside to join the crowds and enjoy this brilliant free community event.
