Museums on the Move

Museums on the Move is a free service that helps you celebrate your history.

If you are a community organisation, school, company or venue that wants an exhibition or help to develop a project that celebrates your heritage then Stockton's Museums on the Move can help you! We provide a number of resources that include workshops, community loan boxes and exhibitions including display stands and equipment. We will also provide assistance in installation, so please feel free to contact us.

Current Touring Exhibitions

We currently have 12 small exhibitions to offer to venues around the Tees Valley, that have a focus on our rich local heritage. These exhibitions are free and we can help you decide which exhibition would best suit your venue.

Loan Boxes and Photo Packs

These are available to community groups and schools. They cover a wide range of historical and local topics. A4 copies of archive photographs showing the development of areas are also available for: Stockton, Thornaby, Billingham, Yarm and Norton.
