Spark

Spark is an innovative arts education centre based in Stockton-on-Tees, which delivers a host of workshops and activities for primary and secondary schools and the local community. It also provides training opportunities for teaching staff, artists and other groups requiring training in arts practice and creative development.

Spark is a fantastic resource equipped with a ceramics studio, a kiln room, large art rooms and an Apple Mac ICT Suite. Activities range from carnival projects to animation; film projects to puppet making and workshops are led by experienced professional artists. Spark is able to deliver workshops to full classes of pupils and sessions can be tailor-made to suit your school. We are particularly interested in collaborative working with schools and welcome your thoughts about how Spark might work with you to develop arts activity in your school, including using the arts and creativity to work across the curriculum.
