Are you interested in researching your family history? Don't know where to start? Confused by all the different records?
You are not alone. Many people find this when starting their research. To help you get started Stockton Library Service has set up a 'Beginners Family History Group' to introduce those new to the practice to some of the resources available in the Library. This group meets on once a month on Wednesday afternoons - 2pm to 4pm.
Dates of forthcoming meetings are....
3 September 2008
1 October 2008
5 November 2008
3 December 2008

We also have an existing group for people those more familiar with the process who would like to share and learn about family history.
We meet monthly on Tuesday afternoons, from 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Dates of meetings are...
23 September 2008
21 October 2008
11 November 2008

Why not come along and find out how to discover your own history......
