The Library is part of Ragworth Neighbourhood Centre in Stockton-on-Tees. It is a small branch library offering additional benefits of being integrated within a busy Neighbourhood Centre. The Centre offers leisure and educational facilities to both the local community and surrounding areas.
Whilst the Library does not have a public PC, staff can access the Borough stock catalogue for you. The Library has an extensive collection of self-help books as well as study guides for adults in further education. This has grown to accommodated adults studying with the Workers Educational Association who provide a wide range of courses at the Centre.
Ragworth Neighbourhood Centre: The Centre opened in 1993 and has grown and developed rapidly over the years. Training, health and friendship are the aims of the centre and these are enjoyed by the many individuals and organisations based in and visiting the centre.
Various partner agencies employing almost 100 people are also based in the centre providing services to the local community and other people who, for a variety of reasons use the centre on a regular basis.
Facilities in the centre include a well equipped fitness suite, main hall, meeting rooms, library, healthy eating cafe, free IT access, secret garden, creche, Stockton Online computer room and much more.
