Norton Library

Children with staff member at Norton Library
Norton Library is situated on a central site on the High Street in Norton. It was opened in November 1986, the premises having being converted from a supermarket. Although not custom built, it has a light spacious feel with the previous supermarket headings converted to library signs. It has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of armchair seating.

The Library features a permanent display of archaeological finds from the Norton Saxon site. Norton has an extensive stock and is the largest branch in the borough (after Stockton Central Library).
