Members of Stockton Borough Libraries are now able to borrow from a wide range of DVD titles. These are available to grown-ups, with a choice of the latest releases and popular titles. Rental of these titles costs £2 per week for each DVD, with a maximum lease of four titles allowed. DVD rental is free of charge for VIP's or people with hearing difficulties.
Sue Anderson, Stockton Council's Libraries and Information Services Manager, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer members of the public two new services in response to customer comments. DVDs are available to grown-ups at Stockton and Thornaby Central libraries and Playstation games at Thornaby Westbury Street. If successful the services will be rolled out to other libraries across the Borough."
