Community Libraries

Yarm Library 8
Stockton Borough Council has twelve Community Libraries.  They vary in size, stock and services available, but all have one thing in common.  From the large Central Library to the smallest village library, each exists to serve their community with services from traditional book lending to connecting people to the wider world through the internet.
Each library provides books, CDs, videos and audio tapes for adults, teenagers and children, as well as a basic reference stock, a gateway to more specialised services and to national inter-library loans. Above all they all provide a welcoming environment, open and free to all.

Below is a map showing the location of the largest library, Stockton Central Library, which is situated within the town centre, on Church Road.
