Kiora Hall Youth & Community Centre
Kiora Hall has been used as a youth club for over 40 years, and is now an adult education centre as well as a community centre. The club runs specific night for young people with special needs on Mondays 6.30 -8.30pm for members aged 18 to 25 and Wednesdays from 6.15pm to 8.15 pm for younger members aged 11 - 17. Young people from across Stockton Borough are welcome.
During the session the young people can take part in activities such as crafts, games, sports, pool, table tennis, disco, issue based discussion such as health, money, basic skills and more. The aim is for the young people to help decide what activities will be available, and they have been involved in music workshops, trips to Castle Eden Walkway and a pantomime. The activities available help with young people's personal and social development, as well as life skills and much more.
