Youth Space

The aim of Stockton on Tees Youth Service is to educate, support and empower young people in their transition to adulthood. Youth Space is a purpose designed building for young people, which is located in Skinner Street, Stockton and is easily accessible offering first class facilities for young people.

It boasts quality training rooms, a modern kitchen, a great 'chill out' area with pool table. There is an ICT , digital editing suites, art , shower and laundry rooms. At Youth Space there are many new exciting plans for the future.

The Adult Learning Inspectorate carried out a full inspection in 2003 of Training and Employment Services, who manage the scheme, Entry to Employment for the council and gave the project a 2. This mark is on a scale of 1 to 7 with 1 being excellent and 2 being highly effective.
