Wider opportunities programme
These are primary school based projects where a whole class has the opportunity to have lessons on a particular type of instrument.
The programme usually lasts for the full academic year. (10 lessons per term over three terms)
- We will provide a teacher/teachers.
- All documentation for tuition delivery and supporting literature.
- Your classroom teacher will be taught alongside the whole class.
- We will provide and maintain instruments to the appropriate standard.
- We will ensure the instruments are insured while on your school premises.
- We will deliver and collect all sets of instruments from your school
At the end of the programme those pupils who wish to continue to develop
their musical skills will be given the opportunity to do so in small group
tuition.
Initially these programmes are jointly funded by the TVMS and the school and no costs are passed on to parents during the first year.
For more information and costs, please contact your area development co-ordinator.
