Governor Recruitment Material
The School & Governor Support Service have published two governor recruitment leaflets ' Become a School Governor' and 'Why be a School Governor'.
'Become a School Governor' provides information on the role of school governors and highlights the fact that 'you don't need any special expertise' to be a governor.
'Why be a School Governor', contains information and answers questions with regard to:
- who are governors?;
- what is the role of a school governor?;
- some of the things governors can expect to be involved in?;
- what will I gain as a school governor?;
- what skills do I need to undertake the role of school governor?;
- how will I be involved and how long will it take?
Both documents are attached for you to download.
