Secondary School Admissions

These pages will be useful if you want to apply for a place at a secondary school starting in September 2012.

The authority currently has 14 secondary schools. Please note Year 7 applications for September 2012 at Northfield School will be operating from the one site at Thames Road.

If your child is born between 1 September 2000 and 31 August 2001, he or she will be due to start secondary school in September 2012.

As the closing date has passed please complete the common application form attached below. Please note your application will be classed as late, this means it will be considered after all the applications received on time.

Letter is sent to parents/guardians with information on how to apply
31 October 2011
Closing date for applications
1 March 2012
If you applied online an email will be sent on the 1st March. Decision letters will be sent out to parents (Second class post)
April and May 2012
