The choice advice service gives impartial, independent advice and support to families when deciding which school to send their child to.

Online Applications

Applying for a school place online is simple, fast and secure. You will no longer have to wait for a letter in the post which can take a few days, instead you will have your school allocation emailed to you on the 1st March 2012 for secondary schools and 15th April 2012 for primary schools.

How can I find out information about which primary or secondary school would be best for my child?

  • Get help completing the 'common application form'
  • Find out which schools in the Stockton-on-Tees borough are more popular than others
  • What are the chances of getting a place in a preferred school?
  • If your child has not been allocated a place in your preferred school, what can you do next?

These are some of the issues that Stockton's Choice Adviser would be able to help you with - and many more.
