Schools in the Borough

The Borough of Stockton-on-Tees is a mainly urban authority made up of four distinct townships, Billingham, Stockton Town, Thornaby (including Ingleby Barwick) and Yarm/Eaglescliffe.

The LA currently maintains 61 primary phase schools, 14 secondary schools (including two with sixth forms), 4 special schools (two of which also cater for residential pupils) and 2 pupil referral units. There are also 3 Sixth Form or Further Education colleges located within the Authority.

Contact information for each school can be found in the following documents or you can visit the Edubase directory - a site maintained by central government.

The SEAL website contains information about events and activities in schools. Some schools provide morning and evening activities during term time.

The Interactive Mapping facility allows users to view admission zones and schools on an interactive map.
