The Willows Centre

The Willows Youth Club runs on Monday and Tuesday Nights at The Willows Community Centre on Northport Road in Portrack.

The Willows Centre is a busy place and is run by the management committee, so it is great for teenagers to have their youth club nights. The young workers help the young people to plan a varied programme which cover cooking, games, theme nights, tournaments, crafts, community projects, accreditations, quizzes, youth forum meetings and much more.

Entry to the club is 50p but most activities are free! Sometimes the youth club go on trips and have recently been on a residential to High Force and bowling at Hollywood Bowl. The young people raised the money for these trips themselves by applying to Youth Bank for funds.

By attending the youth club the young people have opportunities to get involved in other projects throughout the Service and several have attended Youth Assembly meetings and also had the chance to attend residential visits to develop their teamwork skills.
