PaIR (Partners In Reading)

PaIR is part of a variety of activities being delivered as part of an extended school programme in the Portrack and Tilery area. Reading groups will be established in each of the schools (The Norton School, Norton Primary and Tilery Primary Schools) and libraries (Norton and Stockton). The project will set up a 'virtual' reading room on Stockton Libraries' web pages, to include recommended reading and comments.

'Storytellers' will be brought in to participate in reading groups, including people from local businesses, high profile people within the local community, professional storytellers, authors and local residents. The reading groups will be brought together for a mammoth 'Readathon' (perhaps linked to a high profile fund-raising event).

If you are interested in taking part or require further details contact Stockton Libraries on tel: 01642 528044 or the Extended School team on tel: 01642 567867
