Education and Training
Teacher Training courses are currently under national review. The standards have changed and the awarding bodies are in the process of updating the qualifications to match the new standards.
Tees Achieve currently offers the following training courses:
City and Guilds NEW -6302 - Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (Credit Value - 12)
This course is designed for learners who would like an introduction to delivering teaching/training and may not be currently teaching. It is suitable for those who work or want to work in adult and community learning, providing that they are qualified/experienced in the subject they wish to teach. It is also suitable for teachers/trainers in the voluntary sector or training personnel in other industries. Teaching practice/placement is NOT a requirement of this course.
City and Guilds - Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector
This course is currently being updated by the Awarding body. Tees Achieve are aiming to offer the new updated course from January 2012. (Subject to change)
