Cookery, healthy eating and cake decoration and sugarcraft courses are offered for beginners and those wanting to extend their skills and try something new.

Why not try one of our Thai, Indian or Chinese cookery courses which will introduce you to a new style of cookery using lots of new herbs and spices. Other popular courses are our 1 day speciality courses such as 'Cooking for Christmas', 'Dinner Party Menu for Beginners' or ' Cook for the week in 1 day'.

Joining a course is a great way to gain confidence in your cooking skills, add variety and healthy options to your diet and treat family and friends.

Courses are available day and evening, in a wide range of local venues.

Want a qualification?

An NVQ Level 1 in Food Preparation and Cookery is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays in our new kitchen at Billingham Community Centre, which is open for coffee from 10am and serves hot and cold lunches from 12pm.

Stockton Adult Education Service also works with local schools to enable school catering staff to work towards an NVQ in their workplace.
