Adult Education Service
Stockton Adult Education Service provides learning opportunities in 82
local community buildings. There are over 1000 courses to choose from, many
are practical in nature. For further information on our courses click on
'Subject Areas'.
Some of our courses can help develop your writing, reading and maths
skills. Others will help you return to learning. All are exciting and make
learning fun. Click on 'Information for Learners' for access to our
Comments, Compliments and Concerns page and Information for Learners
booklet. You will also find details on our Learner Support Office and Voice
of the Learner - our Student Focus Group. A copy of the Students Charter
and the Services term dates are provided.
Online enrolment is available. Click here to enrol online.
The online enrolment system allows potential and current learners to view
up-to-date course details as well as enrol on their chosen courses and make
payments online without queuing or waiting for receipts in the post.
If your course is free and you know the details, you can use the enrolment
form on the 'How to Enrol' page, alternatively please use the contact
numbers provided for information on how to enrol. This page will also give
details on becoming an Adult Education tutor.
The Service's most valuable assets are its tutors. Click on 'Information
for Tutors' for a copy of the Tutors Handbook. This part of the site also
provides a list of websites that tutors may find useful.
