Parent Support Advisers
Parent Support Advisers (PSA's) have been appointed in many schools across Stockton. Their role is mainly to support you and your child to get the very best from your school by providing support, advice and information. They will help you with any worries you may have in relation to your child's education, behaviour or attendance, and provide support on how best to deal with it.
What issues might a Parent Support Adviser help with?
- Behavioural problems
- Attendance issues
- Links with other agencies/services
- Access to family and adult learning opportunities
- Help to get you more involved with your child's learning
What services might a Parent Support Adviser offer?
PSA's will offer different activities depending on the needs of parents within that school. These could include:
- Informal coffee mornings
- Home visits
- Family events
- Parenting workshops
