Insurance - Accident Claims

The Risk Management & Insurance section arranges appropriate and cost effective insurance cover to protect the assets and activities of the Council and also deals with any claims which may arise out of the Council's activities. The section also provides a comprehensive risk management service.

The Risk Management & Insurance Section does not however deal with the following services:

Should you wish to make a claim against the Council in respect of personal injury and/or loss of or damage to personal property, please click on the Insurance Claim Form link to access either a pdf version of the form, which you can print , complete it and return to us at the address shown at Who to Contact. Alternatively, you can complete the on-line version and complete and submit the form electronically.

Stockton on Tees Borough Council is committed to protecting the public funds it handles and, in order to prevent and detect fraud, it may share information relating to claims with other organisations and public bodies. The deliberate provision of false or misleading information will always be reported to the Police for investigation and action will be taken to recover costs.
