Housing Health and Safety Rating System
The Housing, Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) replaces the housing fitness standard with a risk assessment procedure introduced by the Housing Act 2004.
The Housing, Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) also replaces the fitness standard as an element of the Decent Homes Standard.
The new Housing, Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) approach covers all the important potential health and safety risks in the home through a clearly defined risk assessment procedure.
