Assistance (Disabled Adaptations)

The Private Sector Housing Division has a role in the provision of disabled adaptations. Before we can adapt your home an assessment of your needs will have to be undertaken by a member of the Councils Occupational Therapy Team.

If you are assessed as needing adaptations to your home the Occupational Therapist will then forward a recommendation to us to have the necessary adaptations carried out.

The Adaptations Team process all referrals for adaptations, irrespective of tenure. A full professional, technical and administrative service is provided.
