Welcome to the web pages dedicated to the regeneration of Hardwick.

Hardwick Regeneration SchemeFrom these pages you will be able to access further information on the regeneration scheme and find contact details for the Housing Regeneration Team.

By the end of the scheme, Hardwick will have benefited from investment of up to £100 million from a variety of public and private sources. The scheme will involve:

  • The demolition of around 600 properties which will be replaced with high quality public open space and approximately 800 new, good quality homes for rent and sale.
  • A new £4 million state-of-the-art building for Hardwick Primary School, the relocation of which has now allowed for a new gateway into the estate.
  • Additional improvements across the wider estate, including a multi-use games area, a full size football pitch, increased cycleway and footpath provision and environmental improvements to Hardwick Dene.
  • Endeavour Housing Association has been appointed as the preferred Registered Social Landlord for the scheme, while Barratt Homes and Keepmoat Homes (previously known as Haslam Homes) have been appointed as the private developer partners.
