Concierge Services
The Concierge services main objectives are to provide comprehensive security facilities for council tenants, whereby members of society living in high/medium rise flats can live peacefully with their property protected by effective security. To this end, the Council and Tristar Homes Ltd. has invested a considerable amount of funding in major high rise block regeneration projects. The tenants of these premises now enjoy the highest standards of security but in a non-intimidating environment.
Main Duties
- Control and monitor access and egress to the building.
- Carry out regular patrols and static guarding.
- Observe and report incidents within blocks and surrounding areas, including anti-social behaviour, noise pollution, fly-tipping and abandoned vehicles.
- Reporting repairs - staff are available to call to flats to access problems - sort minor repairs, resetting trip switches and isolating water supply when leaks occur etc. Staff will also be available to report any further repairs to the appropriate agencies.
- To contact and liaise with emergency services i.e. Fire, Police and Ambulance.
- To work closely with outside agencies for the benefit of all tenants, i.e. Social Services, Doctors.
- Carry out routine maintenance on blocks such as resetting boilers and (where applicable) testing fire alarm systems.
