Stockton Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service
Stockton Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service offers a range of service to children and young people who are looked after by Stockton Council.
We work with young people under 18, including young people leaving the "Looked After" system.
What can we offer?
- Consultation and advice to Field Social Workers and Placement Workers of young people's emotional, behavioural and psychological difficulties and how their needs can be met.
- Advice and work with carers of young people in local authority care (both foster carers and residential staff) in helping young people through their difficulties.
- Mental health assessment and management of psychiatric difficulties in young people in local authority care.
- Following assessment, direct therapeutic work with young people.
