What is a Child Protection Plan?
It is a plan to improve your care and safety. The plan will decide what should be done and who can do this best, your family, your school, your social worker. It is important for everyone to work together to complete the Plan. This will include and assessment that looks at what is needed and who does what.
Who will be in my core group?
Usually your Social Worker, a Teacher from school, your parents or carers, YOU and sometimes another adult who knows you like a School Nurse.
When does it meet?
The first meeting is normally within 10 days of the Child Protection Conference. After that, the Group will meet as often as necessary.
