Parenting Plus
Parenting Plus is a parenting programme managed through the Learning Development Team of Sure Start Stockton-on-Tees, and designed to provide parents and carers of children aged 0-16 with a friendly, relaxed pathway to learning. Some of the learning programmes include:
- Confidence Building
- Healthy Eating
- Managing Challenging Behaviour
- Basic Budgeting
- Babysitting Skills
- Coping with Kids (0-5) (5-8) (8-12) (12-16)
- Family Safety
- Talking to children about difficult issues
- Healthy Lifestyles
An information service is always on hand for learners, while advice and guidance is available for those who wish to gain extra skills or enhance their existing personal strengths.
