Supporting People In Stockton
Supporting People it is the name of a funding programme. The programme helps vulnerable people to live independently in the community by giving money to organisations providing housing support services.
Some examples of the help that can be given are:
- Sheltered housing for older people
- Alarm call services
- Hostels for homeless people
- Supported housing for people with learning disabilities
- Supported housing for people with mental health problems
- Housing support for offenders
- Housing support for young people at risk
- Housing support for people misusing drugs and alcohol
