The Halcyon Centre
The Halcyon Cantre is a day service for people 55 years and over who live in the Yarm, Ingleby Barwick, Eaglescliffe and Thornaby area and have been assessed by a social worker as needing day care.
The centre was opened in August 2008 and is located behind
Mandale Primary School ( formally Harewood infants) on Thorntree Road,
Thornaby.
We are a small friendly group with a maximum of 22 members per day.
The centre offers a broad variety of activities which focus around world
wide celebration and events. We have have spacious garden and members are
currently developing the garden and allotment in conjunction with local
with voluntary groups.
Our committed experienced staff have a broad knowledge base and are keen to
support our members in daily living skills and in achieving their goals and
aspirations
