Teesside and District Society for the Blind
Supporting visually impaired people in Stockton, Redcar and Middlesbrough areas, Teesside and District Society for the Blind aims to promote the independence of anyone affected by sight loss.
They offer a Social Day Centre, outings and activities, computer training, home visiting and a shopping escort service.
A fully equipped resource centre stocked with a range of devices and gadgets designed to help with daily living is available for people to try items before they buy. A Braille transcription service is also available.
