Fair Access To Care Services - Eligibility
Stockton Council must make sure that everyone has fair access to our services.
We must also make sure that we can provide services for the most urgent cases in our community. We do this by working out a level of need for each person who applies for our service.
To work out what level of need a person has, we will meet with them (and their relatives if the person wishes), discuss their issues and what can be done about them.
All social services use the same criteria to establish the level of need These are known as FACS or Fair Access to Care Services.
