Financial Assessment
Social Services charge for some of the services they provide. Many people will not be asked to pay the full calculated cost and in some cases no charge will be made. The decision on how much you will pay will be based on a financial assessment.
Where a financial assessment is required, we will make an appointment with you to determine how much you will be required to contribute towards the cost of your personal care at home, in day care or in residential care.
All information that you provide will be treated in confidence.
There are a number of leaflets, explanatory notes and forms for both residential and fairer charging available in pdf format by clicking on the attachments in the articles on the left called 'Residential / Nursing financial assessment' and 'Fairer charging for non-residential services'.
If you require a hard copy or have any questions about charging or financial assessments please contact the Client Financial Services Team.
