Carers of all ages

Carers are people who provide regular substantial support to others, whether they are friends, relatives or neighbours. People cared for may Have a physical disability, sensory impairment, learning disability, be an older person, have mental health needs or have a drug or alcohol dependency. Carers may be of any age, including young people as may the cared for person.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is committed to providing a full range of quality support to assist in the valuable role carers' play.

To find out about help you can get from us:
1 Telephone our First Contact Unit and ask to speak to an Access Officer
2 Call into our First Contact Office
3 Complete and submit the 'Request for Contact from Social Care' form below
4 There is an emergency out of hours service if you need EMERGENCY support outside of office hours
