Social Care (previously known as Social Services) offers support to many people in a wide range of circumstances. To ensure users and carers can access the services they need we work together with health colleagues in Stockton and the North East.
Everyone can get information and advice from us, and many people receive further help.
We support the following groups of people.
- Vulnerable people
- Children in need
- People with disabilities
- Carers of all ages
- People with alcohol and drug issues
- People with learning disabilities
- People with mental health issues
Most of the support we give is aimed at enabling people to maintain their independence and quality of life, in their own home in their local community.
