Animal Licensing

In conjunction with the Licensing Section, the Animal Welfare Service carry out inspections of licensed premises in the Stockton Area. This will include Pet shops, boarding/breeding establishments and riding stables.

The license and inspection regime ensure that the premises meet the required standards to operate and maintain high standards of animal welfare. We also investigate any complaints about these premises and make surprise visits in order to check everything is in order.
