Partnership Organisations
The Animal Welfare Service works in close partnership with all the relevant agencies who deal with Animal Welfare issues. This may be on a local level, but we also have a national presence and are consulted on new, and changes to existing animal welfare legislation.
We work with the following agencies:-
- R.S.P.C.A.
- The Dogs Trust (formerly NCDL)
- Cats Protection League
- Cleveland Police - Wildlife Liaison Officer
- Dog Training Schools
- Local Veterinary Surgeons
- Bat Rescue
- Ferret Rescue
- Environment Agency
- The Reptile Trust
These are only a few of the agencies that we work alongside in order to improve animal welfare in our area.
