Wolviston Play Study

Recently Groundwork North East undertook an assessment of play provision on behalf of Stockton Borough Council. The assessment was carried out in order to find out if there was a demand for play within Wolviston and to look at how and where play could be provided.

Questionnaires were sent out to all households in the village asking residents for their opinions on play; 161 questionnaires were returned and 37 people attended a consultation event held on the 8 June. Views were also expressed in letters, petitions and at other meetings.

All views offered have been given very careful consideration and Groundwork have now summarised their findings in a final report. This report also includes details of the work Groundwork did to assess which of the green spaces in the village may be suitable for the development of a play area now or in the future.

The full report and appendices are available online.
