We want to know what you think about the Borough's parks, green spaces, countryside, trees and woodlands, and the services the Council provides in these areas. That will help us to decide what improvements need to be made and what new facilities we should aim to provide for the future. We can't always do what everyone wants, but your ideas and comments are important to us.
GreenSTAT
This is a national survey which gives residents and users of parks and green spaces the opportunity to comment on the quality of their open spaces and how well they feel they are being managed and maintained. It is run by an organisation called Green space, but the information is mainly used by the Council to help us improve our parks and green spaces. Just follow the link to complete a form online:

Stockton Borough Sport Recreation and Leisure Survey (April 2008)
A major Borough-wide survey, the results of which have been used in the preparation of the Borough's new Local Development Framework, Green Infrastructure Strategy and local plans and projects.
GreenSTAT summary report (January 2010)
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council 'Viewpoint Panel' Trees Survey - March 2008
A survey which gives a better understanding of local people's views on trees.
Green space Consultation - Questionnaire and Maps (2009)
The results from a series of drop-in sessions (Your Local Green Spaces) held across the Borough during April to June 2009. This information is helping us to plan and improve the Borough's parks, countryside and green spaces, and may be of value to other organisations such as parish councils.
Children and Young People's Parks and Green spaces Consultation (2009)
In Spring 2009 we asked A4e to do a series of workshop sessions in some local schools, and as part of that exercise children and young people were asked to give their views about local parks and play areas. The results are helping us to provide better play areas and play spaces, and to give greater consideration to the views of children and young people when planning our parks and green spaces.
