The residents of Stockton have welcomed the new play facilities at John Whitehead Park, Billingham and further improvements are being made.
In the New Year the refurbishment of the cafe will begin. The cafe will sell traditional park sytle food, such as scones, ice cream and tea and coffee. A special lunch menu will also be available. Please see the attached menu for more information. It is hoped that the cafe will open in time for Easter. Opening hours for the cafe of 10.00am to 6.00pm (Summer) and 10.00am to 4.00pm (Winter) are proposed.
The locking of the park gates is also under review with the opening and closing times of 6.00am to 9.30pm (Summer) and 6.00am to 6.00pm (Winter) proposed.
