John Whitehead Park - Update July 2009
The council have been working with the Supporters of John Whitehead Park to develop a new masterplan for the park. The plan illustrates the aspirations for the park's development, with the proposed restructuring of the footpaths, the redevolpment of the area by the main entrance and the cafe and improved facilities for older children and young people.

Have you visited our lovely cafe? Its the perfect place to stop for a cuppa and a scone or an ice-cream and if you fancy something more filling we serve really mouth-watering lunches! Take a look at the menu (available in the 'additional resources' section below). The cafe is open from 10am each day and closes at 6pm (summer months) and 4pm (winter months).
The park gates opening and closing times are 6am to 9.30pm (Summer) and 6am to 6pm(Winter).
