'The Great Outdoors'

Much of our area falls within the Tees Forest and there are plenty of interesting countryside sites and parks. There are numerous trails, footpaths, cycleways and walkways, enabling residents and visitors to savour rhe beauty of the great outdoors.

There are lovely walks along the river at Yarm, at the Tees Barrage or along the river at Preston Hall. for the more accomplished walker, national long distance walks include the Teesdale Way and Cleveland Way. Both of these routes link to a much wider network, enabling walkers to enjoy even more of the North East.

Get yourself out there - its free, its fun and its good for you!
