Playground is a wonder at Wynyard Woodland Park
The brand new landmark play area at the picturesque Wynyard
Woodland Park is now open.
The £300,000 playground funded by Stockton Council boasts unusual and imaginative play equipment suitable for all abilities and creates an imaginative addition to the stunning parkland.
Visitors to the park will glimpse the top of the pyramid towers over the tree tops and encourage children to discover what lies ahead. The towers offer different levels of play so there is something to keep less able children busy and join in with their friends.
Sand play will help children develop motor skills and their sense of touch. The existing trees provide sheltered areas providing protection whatever the weather. The tall, upright trunks of the wooden climbing forest equipment create a forest feel enhancing the magical feel of the woodland.
