Newham Grange Park - Lighting and Cycleway Improvements

Recent works in the park include the installation of art features and new bespoke picnic tables designed by children from Grangefield School, a new footpath from Fir Tree Walk and an overhaul of the seating area at the centre of the park near the bowls club.

The next phase of improvements in the park will be to install a lighting scheme. In addition to this a new cycleway link will be constructed between Salters Lane and the centre of the Park. This will ultimately connect national cycle route 1 to the town centre.

The lighting scheme will illuminate the main path through the park providing greater safety for users and allowing visitors to enjoy the park for longer hours.
