In the borough of Stockton-on-Tees we are responsible for over 6000 street nameplates. We adopt a policy where old or damaged nameplates are replaced with the new style.
This new style nameplate uses Kindersley style lettering and the new materials used provide a retro reflective class 2 background to the sign while the support legs are made from galvanised steel and protected by a waterproof black paint.
Theft and vandalism of street furniture, gullies or the removal of barriers around excavation works can lead to serious accidents. Please report any cases to our Care for Your Area Customer Services Department on (01642) 391959.
