Important changes to waste and recycling collection services

Since the introduction of Plastic & Cardboard recycling there have been some major changes to the Refuse collection service.  We now only empty one bin per property and will not take any side waste.  Any additional wheeled bins or side waste put out for collection will be not be collected.

If you don't have a wheeled bin you can purchase a replacement for £25.  We realise that larger families produce more waste, so will be offering these households the use of a larger bin.  If you think you need a larger bin please ring contact us and we will arrange for a needs assessment application form to be sent to you.

If you have additional wheeled bins that you no longer require we are happy to come and collect them from your property free of charge.

Any extra rubbish can be taken to the Household Waste & Recycling centre at Haverton Hill.

To ensure that you do not miss a collection your waste and recycling should be placed out by 7am on the day of collection. You can find your domestic refuse collection dates here.
